Driving through Weatherford today we passed the music store..... Packed with cars that were shopping for Christmas dreams!!! I remember the day when I lived at the music store ... When the music store in Danville IL had a fire my dad bought me my first banjo! My whole room/upstairs smelled like smoke for weeks!!! I was in Heaven! I would spend hours in the music store dreaming & making my lists! As we drove by today I thought how ironic that the Banjo of my dreams had 4 legs and actually put a song in my heart....in a greater way....even after he left me my love for him is still there. Now I look down the isles of western stores and dream of horse tack & spotted/branded partners. Still have a song in my heart..... I just dont strum it near like I use to! Like horses....my love for music is inside me....always there! And in the barn I often unite both loves!!!!!
