Driving to San Antonio and back I started playing some music from my folder titled World Music. After two of Andrea Bocellis albums it moved into my collection of music styled for what was once called the Dance of Moral Death - the tango. I like complex music - I think that complexity makes music more interesting to listen to. And the tango most certainly qualifies. While maintaining its signature rhythms it move through tempos, harmonies and keys (or perhaps no keys at all) fluidly. Like jazz or the blues it has its own conventions. Once again tonight I was reminded how much of a pleasure the tango can be to listen to. https://youtube/watch?v=JocVr72a8N4
