Driving to work this morning on Karai Radio FM 90.7, I heard the Minister for Public Enterprises Ben Micah and later PM Peter ONiel talking about selling shares in the National Airline Air Niugini (PX) and PNG Power Ltd (PPL) to the public, as the State feels that, the people of PNG must have a share and ownership of those 2 entities. Iam confused, but am not convinced that things will improve after the sales of shares to the public. The experience is with PNG Banking Corporation (PNGBC) ...now taken up by BSP through that process and is now part of BSP...look at the services and cost, the daylight robbing of Account Holders of our money indirectly by the BSP for HIGH FEES of all kinds. On the PX and PPL issues talked about by Ben and Peter .... The constant power blackouts and power rationing exercise in the city and in all provinces is just a strategy to create frustration in the minds of the general public and rate payers and sooner with more frustration and anger in the hearts and minds of the people and public opinion will sway towards the idea that is being played very well by Ben Micah and Peter ONeil through the IPBC Policy for SOE to be partially privatized ..PX and PPL are the first on the list. This is a game ...the Master Strategist and the Master Crook who are partners in Crime and Corruption are well and truly on their way to owning the 2 SOE (PPL & PX) indirectly through their mates and business associates. PNG Maski faul faul na read the signals and messages clearly. PNG Trade Union Congress, Civil Societies, Churches, Political Parties, Students and all must oppose the SALES of the SOE OUTRIGHT.....the CONSTANT POWER BLACKOUTS EXPERIENCE NOW IN ALL CENTRES IS JUST A STRATEGY TO CREATE FRUSTRATION AND ANGER TO SWAY PUBLIC OPINION TO AGREE TO SELLOUT AS THE PX AND PPL ARE NOT BEING MANAGED WELL. THAT IS JUST A SMOKE SCREEN, DONT FALL FOR THEIR BULLSHIT. PPL CAN BE RESCUED NOT WITH MONEY BUT WITH INTELLIGENCE ADN SKILLS IN MANAGING IS BETTER. PNG STAND YOUR GROUNDS AND DONT FALL INTO THE TRAP THAT THEY ARE CREATING TO GANNER SUPPORT TO SELL TO THEMSELVES AND THEIR BUSINESS CRONIES.
