Dropping Comcast.....in my style Dear - TopicsExpress

Dropping Comcast.....in my style Dear Comcast/Xfinity, We’ve been together for many years. We’ve been with you since your days of “@home” in fact. We were number 200 in getting fiber optics in our area. I have stuck by you and I feel I’ve been a loyal customer throughout the last 14+ years. Yes, indeed I have. However, it is now time to close the door on being your customer. Your tactics of removing TLC, Masn and other favorite channels from the lineup of everyday channels by changing the name of your package just does not sit well with me. And this is for the sake of $30.00 more per month. You were purchased by NBC/Universal and it seems to me that was the descent into a rapid decline. I wasn’t asking for HBO, Cinemax and the like. I was asking for the channels that have been a part of your line-up since the onset. Not much to ask for at all. You did this without warning. Well, Comcast/Xfinity I wish you well in your future of Awesomeness….whatever that means. It is not awesome to set your dvr to record a program to simply not be there any longer. It is not awesome to watch a baseball game on masn one evening and the channel no longer be available the next. So, even though I defended you when others stated clearly that “Comcast sucks” I am now having to join that camp as well. I hope that you find many more customers that think it’s awesome to have channels they’ve watched for years just disappear. For me this doesn’t work. Thanks for the memories and I’ll enjoy my $30.00 savings per month. Sincerely, Monica Good New Verizon Fios Customer
