Drove Justin to the Subway in Ripley for a late lunch before he - TopicsExpress

Drove Justin to the Subway in Ripley for a late lunch before he has to go play ball in East Clinton, and I decided to stop by Mrs. Wilsons house one last time. Every week I looked forward to pulling up to that beautiful house on the river, being greeted by her cats, and bonding through music with mam. That was the highlight of my week for eight wonderful years. Driving up this last time was bittersweet. There were no cute seasonal decorations. Her cats didnt welcome me as I got out of the car. But as I walked around front and took a seat in her rocking chair facing the river, the grumpiest cat she had came up to me, curled on my lap, and nudged me to pet him. Thats when the tears came. I miss her more than words can describe. She was a role model to me, giving me the gift of music I never thought I had. Without her I wouldve never learned piano. I might have never joined choir or band. I may have never had the courage to apply to the AOSFYC. She has given me so much of my life, that I just wish I had the chance to thank her. But I know shes in a better place. Dont take the time you have with your loved ones for granted. She was a strong, healthy, and beautiful woman the entire time I knew her. And one day the Lord decided to call her home. I love you Mrs. Wilson. Im sorry I didnt tell you sooner.
