Drove kids to school (30 min drive) discussing one thing they each love about themselves. My son feels good about being an animal lover and having a loving bond with our Chihuahua. My daughter likes being smaller than most, she thinks it gives her the advantage in handball and because its so cute on her. Last week was rough for both of them. They both got teased by other kids pretty bad. My son for his name and my daughter for her teeth. Both cried. Well it was a really great talk this morning and the building blocks for self love. Kids are in desperate need of that. We all are. It wont matter what others say to laugh at us when we really love ourself and show the world our awesomeness needs no approval or label. Drive back home was spent grieving for kids being bombed.
