Drove the car in for a service and walked the 2-3ks back on a cold and beautiful sub-tropical winter morning. Looked around me, cloudless blue skies, everywhere still green and lush! Love living in the outer suburbs - minimal traffic, wide streets, wide footpaths, modest but well kept houses, birdlife, lots of trees, no litter, and only spotted one small instance of tagging/graffiti in my 2-3k walk. Safe area too. Wonder how many cities could say that about their suburbs.
