Drug dealing , prostitution , ATM tampering , theft out of MV , burglary , muggings , malicious damage to property , urinating in public etc etc ...... all taking place from this area . The area is now also infested with rats and all the tenants at the back have left . What action is going to be taken . We all no why we cant take certain actions as certain laws protect the homeless .What is the solution ? This needs a concerted effort that will need to be ongoing , not a one day operation , we need a permanent solution . There is a fence coming to close the alley but that will only sort the alley not the rest of the area around the building . So Law Enforcement , Councillors , SAPS , City of Cape Town , i ask you , what solution do you have ? Its time to act , as the residents of Parklands want this resolved .
