Drumroll, please...The results are in and the first batch of Name That Kitten names are ready to be revealed. Our marvelous winning donors picked the following names for these little mites: Stretch, Pippi, Pepper, and Patches. This is the litter whose mother had a ruptured uterus, severe abdominal infection, and was given only a 65% chance of survival after surgery to clean up her insides. Amazingly Momma healed perfectly and started producing milk for her babies within days of her surgery. Foster mom still helps out on a couple of feedings each day, but Momma Cat is doing most of the work. These babies are now so fat that their bellies hit the floor after mealtimes! Thanks to our donors, Mommas hospital bill is covered and these babies will enjoy a happy, healthier life for nursing on her instead of 100% on formula.
