Duane Eaton Dec 5th GREETINGS FROM SAN ANTONIO! Today is a rather frustrating anniversary. Well, not for me. It is for my little Millie though. It was on this day in 2009 that we went to Houston with the intent of coming home with a young female. It had been several months since Gracie died during routine surgery and we wanted another dog. Instead of coming back with a young female we came back with with a two-year old male. Highly recommended by Karen. For me, Jake is my ever-present shadow. Very seldom does he ever let me out of his sight. If hes not with me his favorite place is under the covers. Or clothes. Or anything else that he can wiggle under! Millie, however, is convinced that we came back with the reincarnation in dog form of Satan himself. (Que proper comment from SNLs Church Lady!) Even after all this time he still pesters her non-stop to play. She usually finally gives in to his demands. Other times she makes it clear that shes in no mood to play. Im extremely thankful to have Jake and I know that deep down, Millie is too.
