#Dubai Expo 2020 ********** #What is Expo?? A worlds fair, world fair, world exposition or universal exposition (sometimes spelled expo for short) is a large public exhibition. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in varying parts of the world. The next Worlds fair will be Expo 2015 in Milan, Italy. Every five years, World Expos attract millions of visitors who explore and discover pavilions, exhibitions and cultural events staged by hundreds of participants including nations, international organisations and businesses. The UAE is bidding to host the World Expo 2020 in Dubai under the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’. Every Five years and for a period of Six months, World Expos attract millions of visitors. The World Expo has never been held in the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia in the history of the event. EXPO Expo 2000 - Hannover, Germany hosted Expo 2000 Expo 2005 - Aichi Prefecture, Japan hosted Expo 2005 Expo 2010 - Shanghai, China hosted Expo 2010 Expo 2015 - Miltan, Italy is preparing to host Expo 2015 Expo 2020 Brazil, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates had all officially bid to host Expo 2020 by the 02 November 2011 deadline.
