Dubai: Future King Heroes bounced back in fine style with a comprehensive 133-run victory against Jashanmal in the 13th Dulsco Ramadan Cricket tournament at the Zabeel Park Cricket Ground in Dubai on Saturday night. The tournament is being organized by Dubai Cricket Council in association with Dulsco Sports Club. This year, Multiplex International LLC will be supporting this tournament with all the Man of Match prizes for each match (31 matches all together) along with Best Player, Best Batsman and Best Bowler of the Tournament prizes. After a disappointing defeat to Multiplex the previous weekend, Future King Heroes got their act together as they first piled on 221 and then skittled out Jashanmal for 88 in 15.5 overs to keep themselves in the hunt for the knock-out stage. For Jashanmal this was their second successive defeat after a 101-run loss against Dubai Municipality and virtually dashing their hopes of qualification. Future King Heroes were jolted by the early dismissal of Ateque Mahmood (5) on 10 in the second over. Yakoob Masih and Amit Verma then formed a dominant partnership to take the team to 80 but this stand was ended by Waqas Butt. Masih cracked a whirlwind 47 which came off just 20 balls and contained five fours and three powerful hits over the boundary line before being stumped by wicketkeeper Wasim Rana off Butt. Varma continued the Jashanmal onslaught along with Yaseer Kaleem as Future King Heroes raced along at a rate of nearly nine an over for the majority of the innings. The duo took the teams score to 100 before Yasir (11), Abbas and Ansari departed at regular intervals. Varma carried on accumulating runs in aggressive fashion but was ultimately dismissed by Kamraan for 63. He hammered five fours and four sixes in his 34-ball essay. Later on some lusty hits from Parveen Yadav (34, 4x2, 6x3) and Shivam Sharma (26, 4x4, 6x1) swelled the Future King Heroes total before they were dismissed on the penultimate ball of the last over for 221. After a harrowing time with the ball, Jashanmals batting display was also a disappointment as they limped to 9 for 3 in the 11th over with Deepak claiming all the wickets. They were in real danger of being dismissed inside the 50-run mark but Mohammed Imran, Butt and Saleh Zada offered some resistance before being dismissed after scoring 21 each. Jashanmal finally crashed to 88 all out with none of the rest batsmen making any sort of impression and then failing to adjust to the situation they were in. Deepak was the pick of the bowlers with 4-30 and he was well supported by Mohammed Imran Munir (3-12) and Shamas (2-24). Amit Varma was adjudged Multiplex Man of the Match. Brief score: Future King Heroes beat Jashanmal by 133 runs. Future King Heroes 221 all out in 19.1 overs (Yakoob Masih 47, Amit Varma 63, Yasir Kaleem 14, Parveen Yadav 34, Shivam Sharma 26; Waqas 2-39, Kamran 2-43, Tausif 2-55) verus Jashanmal 88 all out in 15.5 overs (Mohammed Imran 21, Waqas Jutt 21, Saleh Zada 21; Deepak 4-30, Imran Munir 3-12, Shamas 2-24). Multiplex Man of the Match : Amit Varma of Future King Heroes.
