Ducks! In just few weekends we will have members of the Golden Triangle Ducks Unlimited Chapter come out to clean our wood duck boxes we will also have a few new ones installed! To date we have over 20 boxes on our common areas , we had a great response in donors who sponsored 13 of the 21 .. over the next couple of years Ducks Unlimited recommended adding a total of 42 so we are half way there. If you would like to sponsor a box please send us a message via Facebook and we will contact you. They are $50 and provide a safe place for hens to nest. We have had over 150 ducklings hatch out of our boxes last year alone! This also enhances our value to our community and adds to the waterfowl population and increases additional wetland style habitat for our fish and eagles as well!
