Dudley Police Department Press Release September 18, 2014 As part of their homecoming weekend activities, Nichols College will be holding a road race during the early afternoon hours of Sunday, September 21st. The course will be along Center Road and Dudley Oxford Road between the college campus and the entrance to Shepherd Hill High School. Town residents, or those who plan to travel through area, should expect road closures and detours in the Dudley Oxford and Mason Road area between the hours of 12 noon – 2 pm. Center Road will be closed for through traffic between West Main Street and Dudley Southbridge Road. Several side streets (Including Tanyard Road, Healy Road, and others) along the course will also be impacted during this time period. Drivers in the area must be aware of the presence of a large number of runners and pedestrians on the roads and exercise the proper caution. The public’s cooperation with following signs and the direction of safety personnel in the area is greatly appreciated.
