Due to a minor mishap involving a fuel filler shutoff valve, I will not be coming in to work today. The prospect of arriving at work and having the building evacuated due to my wearing too much of a cologne composed of roughly 10km worth of fine 98-RON dinosaur wee, I had little interest in becoming the centre of attention of a Hazmat investigation that might conclude by having a jury of my immediate peers correct the aroma by taking me to the carpark and having me set on fire. I think Unwell might be the correct way to bill the days absence this time, justified by the choice of driving with the windows mostly up on the way home (it was driving rain at the time) and putting me a bit off the feed. If recovery is sufficiently swift, I will spend a certain part of my impromptu day off shopping for new shoes.
