Due to a recent off-campus incident, students and university community members are advised to exercise caution as they engage in activities in the City of Tuskegee and the surrounding areas. As a safety measure, police presence has been increased on campus. Tuskegee University is fully cooperating with the ongoing criminal investigation. Tuskegee University also strongly encourages students and others who may have information pertaining to this incident to contact the City of Tuskegee Police Department immediately at 334-727-0200. Anonymous tips can also be reported to the Tuskegee University Police Department by calling their confidential hotline at 334-724-4583. This week, counseling services are available for extended hours to students affected by this weekends incident. The Tuskegee University Student Counseling Center is located in the Old Administration Building – Suite 100 and its hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students may also call the Counseling Center at 334-727-8244 or go to: tuskegee.edu/academics/student_affairs/departments/counseling_center.aspx.
