Due to a triathlon event being held in Birzebbuga on Sunday 13th July 2014 between 07:30 hrs and 10:30 hrs, part of Triq Hal Far (from Triq tal-Gebel up to roundabout near Freeport) will be closed to vehicular traffic between 08:00 hrs and 09:30 hrs. All vehicular traffic coming from Luqa will be diverted onto Triq tal-Gebel to Birzebbuga centre. Those coming from Birzebbuga centre will be diverted onto Tal-Papa area. Public Transport will be diverted as follows: Bus 119 – From Birzebbuga centre up to the Freeport roundabout and back Bus X4 – From Hal Far up to the Industrial Estate then exit onto Triq Hal Far, and back towards the Airport passing infront of ETC. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
