Due to a various old injuries (from stunt work or herditary - TopicsExpress

Due to a various old injuries (from stunt work or herditary issues) that are haunting me right now (3 disc bulges, bone spurs, pars syndrome, facet syndrome, hip osteoarthritis, hallux ridgidous etc etc) I am using all kinds of unusual methods to assist me in training the lower body. Hip Belt Squats are an old favourite. They hardly give me any pain and in many ways provide traction for the back. I forgot my Olympic Lifting shoes and so couldnt quite hit depth as I would like. Before the Hip Belts I did leg extension and leg curls as a warm up to get blood into the quads, hams and knees expecially. After 3 sets of high rep Hip Belts I did a high rep set of Leg Press. This machine is one of the best, puts my back in a very safe position and I can concentrate on full range of motion. Unlike many Leg Press machines you can go equivelant to below parallel squats here. Finally I did some ab work including Romanian Situps, Hyper Holds (not shown) and some Plyometric jumps (only hurdle jumps shown here) with some light stretching in between. Will be posting more videos this year, with commentary and video blogs on the website. Nick
