Due to a very busy Sunday schedule, I was not able to get to my laptop to post the MANE EVENT KARAOKE LeoFest spotlight yesterday. So Im doing it right now, and its going out to one of the pillar and key members of the MEK gang: Happy Birthday to Brian Myers. Brian is part of the foundation that made MEK what it is today, singing with me for 18 years and has even filled in and hosted in my times of need, including when Kabe was being born. Dont let his seeming rough exterior be your only impression. Although he is tough, he is one of the kindess and giving people I know, and his singing often fools strangers. There isnt a genre of music, he cant sing and hes not afraid to try new ones on a whim. His almost flawless falsetto and inclination to sing love songs has earned him nicknames like to Velco Teddybear and the Ballad King. All singing stuff aside, he is one of my dearest friends and will always be proud to call him brother.
