Due to an auto-immune disease, I have suffered from chronic pain for more than 15 years. I cannot take pain medication. To do so would render me incapable of working. So, I have learned to cope with the pain, for the time being. Although my condition has no cure and my pain is chronic, the pain Jesus Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane, during his scourging, and when he was nailed to the cross was something infinite, something eternal.
