Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to go into the hospital for pain in my left leg. When all of the tests were done, it was determined that the diagnosis indicated that I would have to have my left amputated below the knee. When I woke up in recovery, I discovered that they took most of my leg above the knee. Fortunately I did not go into cardiac arrest after my discovery but the outcome was not what I expected. I had to come to grips that my life was going to change when it comes to my mobility issues which mean I would have to reconsider my lifestyle choices. I am going to have to wear a prosthetic and hopefully be able to walk as normal as possible without it being obvious that all is not real. The question I am asking of the women is “would you date someone who is missing a limb?” It does not matter how their limb was amputated but the bottom line is could you become romantic attracted to someone with a missing limb?
