Due to hazardous road conditions the following high school sporting events involving Manistee County teams have been canceled: -Manistee Catholic Central girls basketball at Walkerville, no make-up date yet. -Brethren girls basketball at Baldwin, rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31., 4 p.m. JV start. -Wednesdays Bear Lake girls basketball at home vs. Crossroads Charter Academy and Thursdays Bear Lake boys basketball at home vs. Crossroads. Both games are rescheduled for this Saturday with JV girls starting at 2 p.m., JV boys at 3:30 p.m., varsity girls at 5 p.m. and varsity boys 6:30 p.m. -Onekama skiing at Crystal Mountain, rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m. The following events are still taking place today: -Manistee girls basketball vs Benzie Central, 4 p.m. freshman start with JV and varsity to follow. -Manistee wrestling at Lake City, 6 p.m. -Onekama girls basketball at home vs. Suttons Bay, 6 p.m. JV start.
