Due to my multi faceted talent I have managed to loose about 5000 music tracks. iTunes caused me some grief and we restored from an earlier version using the Macs built in time machine facility The date from where we chose to restore did not have the previous two weeks music disks on it. Now I could do one of two things. I could have put the disks into the mac and they would have re created the previous two weeks playlists. Or I could have got the paper work and manually created the playlists for two weeks. Too easy for me. In a moment of the outstanding Garth Brilliance for which I am known, I chose option C which is not one of the sensible options. I chose to restore the play lists from the back up track from last week. People this was the one from where the tracks disappeared. So I managed to restore the blank file over the good file which results in all the back up files now being restored to blank. a truly magnificent effort by Garth will go down in the Garth annals of It seemed like a good idea at the time I am now feeding about 350 plus cds into the computer. This is better than the Great 2000 music disaster where I managed to somehow remove the catalogued list from my PC.
