Call today to register! 318-473-2670 Sculpting the Figure in Clay Workshop Days : 23 and 24 of May from 10am to 4pm Cost: $175 for both days Minimum 7 students, maximum 12 students Description: Sculpting the Figure in Clay from a Model This class will be an artistic and technical journey to understanding a difficult subject so that the student will be able to sculpt a figure in water base clay. Using the live model we will translate complex anatomy into simple shapes. Students will learn to capture the movement of the pose by knowing the key points in the figure. They will learn how to look at the model and see using the BLT and the 3 Ps of anatomy for the human figure. These techniques will give the student a simplified method for sculpting the figure.
