Due to ridiculous law that inhibits the transfer of insurance - TopicsExpress

Due to ridiculous law that inhibits the transfer of insurance across state lines, Im losing my healthcare plan, which currently costs me $112 / month. If I want to buy a truck I like in Minnesota, I can do that and bring it to North Dakota where I live and work. Due to the limitless wisdom of busybody bureaucrats, I cant do that with health insurance. I will be forced to accept a plan in North Dakota, most comparable to my previous plan, that will cost me an additional $103 /month. Incidentally, I just received a new letter from my insurance company. Due to compliance with Obamacare, my previous plan would have been incompatible and thus dropped for coverage regardless of the absurd regulations that restrict competition across state lines. The suggested, comparable plan offered to me in that letter, were I to continue to have a Virginia plan, would be $341 / a month -- $229 more per month than what I previously paid. This is precisely why President Obamas policies were rebuked by voters in the 2014 midterms. Ill certainly admit, hyper-emotionalism regarding some areas of public policy like foreign affairs coupled with a failed education system sometimes gives me a rather pessimistic view on the American voter. But in the case of the most clear-cut issue of the 2014 midterm elections -- its not because voters are too stupid to understand. Its because Obamcare is too stupid to work.
