Due to smoke from a prescribed burn today Greenhill Road will be restricted to one lane and detours will be in place between 11am and 9pm in the Greenhill area. Traffic delays are expected, with both Greenhill Road and Mt Lofty Summit Road possibly affected by smoke from the burn at the Cleland Conservation Park. The burn, being carried out by the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) on behalf of the Mount Lofty Ranges Fire Co-operative, will affect about 62ha of land along the northern boundary of the park adjacent to the southern side of Greenhill Road, Greenhill. A list of the week’s planned burns is available on the DEWNR website, at environment.sa.gov.au/firemanagement/Burns_and_bushfires.
