Due to the airport fire a few days ago in Nairobi, no jetway for a 747, you just simply walk down portable stairs to a bus, to a tent (immigration), to another tent (where you wait for them to "offload your luggage"), then a mad stampede of 300-400 people all wanting the dozen available luggage carts, and then search for your luggage on the tarmac in the dark, then stand in a mass line to send your luggage thru xray, then thru customs THEN to utter caos trying to find your ride. Not bad at all. I think I actaually got through all that faster than normal! I must say, things are improving! :)
