Due to the dangerously low wind chills in our listening area again today, here are the cancellations for today, Tuesday, January 28th. The following schools have cancelled classes for today..... Abingdon-Avon Alwood Schools with all evening activities cancelled Brimfield Costa Catholic Academy Elmwood Galesburg Christian Galesburg Schools Galva ICS in Monmouth Knoxville school district with all evening activities cancelled Mercer County Monmouth-Roseville Orion PASS Alt. School in Monmouth Rockridge ROWVA Sherrard Spoon River Valley Stark County United West Central Williamsfield Also Achievement Industries in Monmouth is closed for today as is the Strom Center in Monmouth but it will be open for appointments only and also no bingo today at the Strom Center. Also, the following Monmouth-Roseville sports activities have been cancelled for tonight.... The 7th Grade Boys Basketball Regional Tournament at Mercer County has been postponed until tomorrow night at 5:30. The Monmouth-Roseville Junior High Girls Basketball game vs. Costa and the Junior High wrestling meet at Sherrard have been postponed with no makeup dates yet available.
