Due to the fact the another minority was killed by a Taser last night in Meriden, Connecticut, which brings the death toll of those who fell victim to various law enforcement agencies in our state to eleven . It is also evident from the inconclusive reports of a number of victims which comprised of 8 minorities out of 11 there is something very lopsided concerning the application of justice across the State of Connecticut and possibly the nation. We the Facebook Group of the Connecticut African American Emancipation Challenge and local affiliates in Waterbury, New Haven, Bridgeport and Hartford after polling our membership, will call for the US Department of Justice to step in and do an independent investigation of the possible racial profiling in the local and state criminal justice systems of Connecticut.
