Due to the inclement weather and dangerous road conditions, UTC will be closed on Thursday, February 13, 2014. All classes, including night classes, are cancelled and offices closed. The Lupton Library and all other buildings will be closed with emergency access only by Campus Police. Crossroads Dining will be open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. to serve campus residential students. Mail Services will be open from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for pick up only. University officials will continue to evaluate the weather and road conditions. Please monitor local media and UTC communication outlets for updated information. In the event of an emergency contact the UTC Police at (423) 425-4357. Due to the expected high level of snow accumulation, local emergency service officials encourage drivers to stay off the roads. The UTC Theatre Company production of No Exit scheduled for Thursday evening has been cancelled. The Theatre Company will add additional performances on Sunday, February 16, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Patrons holding tickets for either Wednesday’s or Thursday’s cancelled shows may exchange them for any other performance. The performance of The Vagina Monologues scheduled for Thursday evening has been cancelled. Other performances are scheduled on Friday and Saturday.
