Dui and warrants arrest: Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested Danny Nevels age 52 of Piney Hill Rd., Corbin early Wednesday morning December 3, 2014 at approximately 4:27 AM. The arrest occurred on Whitney court approximately 12 miles south of London after Deputy Ashurst conducted a traffic stop on a silver Buick Century and determined that the driver was under the influence. In addition, the driver was wanted on two outstanding warrants of arrest. Danny Nevels was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense; operating on a suspended or revoked operators license; and no operators license. In addition, this subject was wanted on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court and a Whitley County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court. In addition, a passenger in the vehicle was wanted on an outstanding Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for theft by deception. She was identified as: Patricia Palmer age 51 Of Whitney Court, Corbin. Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County detention Center.
