Dulquer force Dulquer Salmaan (Malayalam: ദുൽഖർ സൽമാൻ) is an Indian businessman and film actor who works in Malayalam cinema. He is the son of noted actor Mammootty. He made his acting debut in 2012, in the Malayalam film # Second_Show . Early and personal life:- Dulquer Salmaan was born on 28 July 1986 as the younger son of Sulfath and Mammootty. He studied in Kerala till primary classes, after which he joined Shishya School in Chennai. He did his B.B.A. degree from Purdue University in the United States.He married Chennai-based architect Amal Sufiya, on 22 December 2011. Film career:- Director Shyamaprasad offered Salmaan a role in the film # Ritu . Later, Tamil director N. Linguswamy also offered him a role in his first Malayalam film. But these were rejected by Dulquer because he felt he had to study the various aspects of cinema in detail before venturing further and for that did a short term course in film. [3] In 2011, Dulquer signed his friend Srinath Rajendrans debut project #Second_Show in which he played the role of a gangster. #Second_Show, released on 3 February 2012, was according to Sify, well appreciated by both the viewers and also by the critics and completed a 100 days run. His second project was #Ustad_Hotel with director Anwar Rasheed. The film earned critical acclaim and was one of the major commercial successes in Malayalam cinema in the year 2012. Both films were in the list of Top 10 Malayalam films of 2012 compiled by Oneindia.in.His third film was # Theevram, a crime thriller directed by Roopesh Peethambaran which released on 16 November 2012. Dulquer signed on to appear in Martin Prakkats # ABCD: # American_Born_Confused_Desi scheduled for release in 2013 as his fourth film where he made his debut as a singer. The film went on becoming a superhit and given him an identity of a stylish guy in mollywood.He worked his fifth movie with Sameer Thahir on a film named # Neelakasham_Pachakadal_Chuvanna_Bhoomi . The film gelled well with critics and got a superb opening. It went on becoming an above avaerage fair at the box office. He has also acted in Amal Neerads segment in the anthology film # Anchu_Sundharikal . The film # Pattam_Pole directed by Azhagappan was released on 11 October 2013 it got mixed reviews.He appeared in # Salala_Mobiles was which released on 23 January 2014. He made his debut in Tamil in # Vaayai_Moodi_Pesavum and its Malayalam version was titled # Samsaaram_Aarogyathinu_Haanikaram , being a bilingual film simultaneously directed by Balaji Mohan. The film became a super hit in Tamil and a hit in Malayalam. He his 10th movie with Anjali Menon on a film named #Bangalore_Days which got positive reviews from critics and overwhelming response at the box office with a gross collection of ₹8.5 crore in First Week. Bangalore days conitnued its box office journey by collecting about 25 crore from Kerala, about 6 crores from the rest of India and received fantastic responses overseas by taking 94 lakhs in 17 days from the United Kingdom. His first business venture was a web portal for trading cars. Now, he heads a successful dental business chain in Chennai and is also the director of Bangalore based Motherhood Hospital.
