Dunno where to start really, what a day that was at Miles For Men, so proud of everyone who ran and who came today, it was pure fun and laughter start to finish Les Watts was a star as usual, top compere and all round good chap. Les was right, the town name should be changed to Heartlepool Well done to the MfM Team Jane Lesley Sickling Micky Day Mark Sickling Natalie Aston and the gang, yet again you totally nailed it, bigger and better and so much fun. Excellent speeches and lumpy throat time when young Sonny came onstage xxx Huge thanks to all the bands for taking part and having the crowd singing along and dancing from start to finish MickyMojo Hudson Ste Pounder John Mccaffery and David Wilcox from Running On The Spot, Ohasis Tribute who kindly travelled from Leicester, Andrew Johnson and the fantastic Southmartins, Charlie Campbell who played an awesome cracking acoustic set, Mark Simpson as Acoustic Weller who as usual nailed everything Weller and my fellow Extra Specials Tim Jasper Jack Johnson Kieran Dobson Steve Hudson Neil Brodie and Micky Mojo. Huge cheers to Ian Robo Robinson and team for supplying the PA system and giving everyone a fantastic sound Our set was dedicated to Deb Howarth and Paul Wallace, they know why ..... was good to see the gang again Ian Cunningham Melanie J.
