During London Fashion Week I had the honor of being ask by my good friend Fashion Designer #HenryHolland to model along with my other good friend #PixieGeldof for his collaboration with South African fashion retailer #MrPrice! All through I have modeled before for #MaterialGirl and a few other designers I am clearly not a model. I’m barely a model citizen so naturally modeling is way out of my comfort zone so… I must admit at first I was a little apprehensive. Shortly after trying to figure out if I could muster up the self-confidence and courage to do it I received an email explaining the concept behind the collection and that the campaign was all about raising money for The #RedCapFoundation. For every dress sold, R10 ($1) will be donated to the #RedCapFoundation Schools Project redcapfoundation.org Henry designed a collection of 9 summer dresses all under R150 ($15) each dress is inspired and named after one of Henry’s favorite women and friends such as #PixieGeldof, #KatyPerry, #Rihanna, #IggyAzalea, #RitaOra, #AlexaChung, #AgynessDeyn, #PoppyDelevingne and me. Here’s what Henry had to say; “I’m so thrilled to be working with the RedCap Foundation and Mr Price again after the success of our last project. This time we have created a range of dresses inspired by some of the most inspiring women I know. All the girls are inspirational in many different ways and I often draw inspiration from them in my work. I wanted to create a dress that portrayed their personality as well as their personal style and I’m really pleased with the results.
