During Psychology class, students designed and built a maze to study the learning ability of rats. Four domesticated rats were placed in the maze individually or in pairs, with and without food/reward to study the effect on their learning ability. After several repetitions under varied conditions, all of the rats showed improvement in speed, with one rat running the entire maze for reward in 33 seconds.
