During a September 2012 event that raised $4 million for his re-election, President Barack Obama praised pop singer Beyonce Knowles as being a role model for his daughters. The President said, Beyonce could not be a better role model for my girls because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent. Well, the bar must be set pretty low for class and poise in the pop culture in the last 50 years. Liberals claim that conservatives are waging a war on women and that we are trying to impose our values on others. Whose values are promoted in Beyonces music today? Who wants young women to behave like this, or who would expect a man to treat a young lady like that? It is not conservatives who are degrading women or whom parents are trying to protect their children from in the culture today.
