During a meeting at the A.C. legislative Hall, Jason Rogers, the Chairman of the Main Voting Bureau refused to honor a recount to the SRP citing a lack of concrete evidence. However, it is understandable that with limited funds, experience, and human resources he would reach that conclusion. Nevertheless it is his responsibility that elections are conducted in transparency and fairness as well as democracy being allowed to prevail based on majority decisions. To assure that members of the Main Voting Bureau have performed appropiately and that irregularities and fraud is investigated, the judicial authorities must ensure that probable cause and prima facie evidence must be thoroughly weighted. At this moment SRP may not publish anything which may facilitate the cover-up of wrong-doings or may hamper or hinder an investigation. The judicial authority must make use of subpeona and interviews as well. We are dealing with staffs and a system lacking integrity and supervision wherein on a recount of 300 invalid votes, more than 60 were found to be valid. Therefore its not only the vote count or the new redistribution, but the government and the hierarchy of the department heads. How much more irregularities can exist in the total amount of votes which they consider to be valid?
