During a time that concept albums were common this stood out. Many of the concept albums were great, yet how many were so popular without people even understanding it is a concept album and what the concept is? It is not so linear in the middle, yet the endpoints show the way to the meaning. It was done with such care and passion that even now it can reverberate: The honesty and haunting sadness of it is striking - all these things that drive us insane and take us to the dark side of the moon. Who is the lunatic in the hall? Would that be us all? Or was Pink Floyd warning us not to be that? . ..
