During fair week, I probably had 20 people say When are you running for Mayor? (Which, of course, is nice to hear) However, My typical response...Definitely not at this time...I think Mike is doing a great job! I REALLY do! I would rather keep the position I have, Ambassador to Rushville. Something I take quite seriously and thoroughly enjoy. Mike, Ann, our council, our department heads, city employees and countless volunteers are working hard to make a positive difference. Feel free to jump in and do what you can too! We have had great news around here: North Industrial Park project funding, Expansions at Intat and Pioneer, 16th Street Project, State Road 52 Improvement Project and we were recently awarded grants for Cherry Street Extension and for Downtown Enhancement Grant (of which, I personally, am very excited about). Long story short, I am very happy with the efforts and progress being made to improve our city.
