During intense discussions here earlier in the year as to whether we could expect full blown conflict, I said that when Mars returns to the point where it originally went retrograde would be the most likely time [27 Libra]. During my studies I examined the chart of the start of the Crimean War to see if it still had relevance for the area in general. As a test I put dates to it which timed the most intense diplomatic meetings. On another website [KISS] I came across a chart for the 1st Boeing 777 flight and was made aware of a real curiosity. The Crimean chart is dominated by a yod involving an apex Sun quincunx both Uranus and a Neptune/Pluto conjunction [Uranus and Neptune being the two planets most closely associated with aviation]; the Sun and Uranus/Neptune midpoint was being squared by the nodes. The nodes and the yod configurations are often noted as the most fated in astrology. In the chart of the 1st 777 flight The Sun is again the apex of a yod involving the quincunxs to a Uranus/Neptune conjunction as also a Node/Pluto conjunction. The Washington Post has speculated that this could be Crimea No 2.
