During last night’s Council meeting the City Council thanked Mayor Randy Pope for his leadership & countless hours dedicated to the public in 2014. Councilmember Rios was also presented with parting gifts during a touching send off. Rios, who was a key leader in the effort that led to the incorporation of the City of Oakley decided not to run again & ended her term last night. Last but not least, the City Council elected Doug Hardcastle as Mayor & Kevin Romick as Vice Mayor for 2015.
