During last weeks thematic debate of the UN General Assembly on Ensuring Peaceful Societies, GPPACs Sharon Bhagwan Rolls was invited to speak during the panel on strengthening national institutions. Ms. Rolls is the Director of femLINKPACIFIC and GPPACs Gender Liaison. In her speech, she emphasized human security and the necessity of including a standalone goal on peace and security in the post-2015 development agenda, the successor to the Millennium Development Goals.
