During my first political race, the negativity was astounding. - TopicsExpress

During my first political race, the negativity was astounding. Unfortunately on both sides, the political machines kicked in from national, to state, to local. There was horrible things said about my opponent Eddy, and horrible things said about me. I have regretted that negativity till this very day. When that race was done, I decided that if I ever ran another race, that I would not even bring up my opponents name. 2 years ago, I had a tough primary and a general election. I chose to not be negative on FB, or on the radio, or in the news paper. As a matter of fact, I never mentioned my oppositions name. From the mail box, to the news papers, to the radio, to the FB, I am amazed at how desperate individuals are and the lies that a person will spread to advance themselves or their personal agenda. I want to encourage you to reject negative campaigning! If something looks as if it might have value, research it and find out the truth. If it true, then just vote accordingly, if it is not, reject it and expose it as the lie is. Faye Fish once told me Jeremy a half truth is really a whole lie. She was right and I have never forgotten that.
