During my quiet time today I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for Gods promises and truth in my life. Its just amazing to consider all thats happened over the last year. While there have been ups and downs, the fingerprints of God are all over the journey Darla White Brooks and I have shared together. 1. We can certainly say with confidence that were closer to our Heavenly Father than we have ever been...not because of clarity but because of the necessity for even greater trust. 2. Darlas and my relationship with each other is closer than its ever been. God has equipped each of us to support and be the rock for each other through the storm and the one to share the beauty of Gods grace through times of celebration. 3. God has surrounded us with wonderful family and friends to support, encourage, and affirm us on our journey. We could not have done it without you and love you all so much!! 4. God has led in ways that we didnt expect...but Hes been completely faithful. Even during our times of questioning where we felt He was silent, He was there, holding us by the right hand, and caring for our every need. All too often it is easy to look to the challenges in our lives. I am so thankful for the journey and experiences of multiple RESETS for me over the last year, and through my life, that allow me the personal experience to be used to help others through their own RESETS. Although difficult in the midst of the storm, God has been faithful to bring beauty from ashes. I am so excited for the future and know that in Him...the best is yet to come!!
