During my trip to Japan, once I saw the TV there broadcasted the interview about Halal foods among Muslims who stays in Japanese, besides the Halal Expo footage. Even my host family there did all the job to study about Islam, just to give their best hospitality to a Muslim guest. Asking me about halal foods, giving me the direction of qiblats, asking about my prayer times, and others. Really, I begin to notice that Islam is starting to gain more attention there at Japan. Plus, Japan themselves are getting more friendly and welcoming towards Muslim visitors there. And I suppose... the ISIS act of taking two Japanese people as hostages, shows that they are trying to prevent that. They are trying to portray Islam negatively among Japanese. To all my friend fron Japan, Islam is a religion of peace, and what ISIS is doing right now is completely and clearly different to our teachings. Lets pray that the hostages will be saved. Insya-Allah. =)
