During our tour of Ireland we had the great fortune to spend a bit of time on Achill Island, another of the Pirate Queen Grace OMalleys family strongholds in the 16th century. This is the view immediately outside our window at the Bervie Guesthouse, where we stayed. And allow me to say that when planning a trip to the Emerald Isle, I highly recommend a visit to Bervie.
