During the Big Weekend the prayer group, prayed for GUV while we were serving the people of Milton Keynes. God spoke to them through pictures and scriptures. How encouraging that God speaks to us so clearly. Praise His name. They had a picture of a deep blue and they felt that this is the deep belief of the church in what Jesus says and the great love of God being shown during the Big Weekend. In John 5 when the disciples had been fishing all night and didn’t catch anything, then Jesus tells them to fish on the other side. They had such a large catch that they had to ask others to come and help them. Just like the disciples who’d fished and caught nothing, we should not give up when we are faced with opposition. We need to step out with God, even it is looks a bit foolish to us. The prayer group felt that God was saying that we should partner with others to bring in the whole catch. For the neighbouring events they had a picture of moths being attracted to a light. Our lives and actions would draw people to the light of Jesus. AMEN! Please continue to pray for our Big Weekends.
