During the Board of Supervisors meeting this morning, appointed Jean Bishop voted to support a motion by Supervisor Moss to (A) build a multi-million dollar Mohave County Justice Center and (B) to hold the rest of the Mohave County Capital Improvements Program hostage until design and construction commences on a new multi-million dollar County justice facility. The motion passed. This means no new Sheriff substations in sorely needed areas of District 4 until a new courthouse starts. This means no improvements to animal shelter facilities until a new courthouse starts. This means no progress on the Medical Examiner issue until a new courthouse starts. NO PROGRESS on any other important improvement project until feasibility, design and construction work on a new multi-million Mohave County Justice Facility begins. Watch the video. Actions speak louder than words. Jean Bishop is not a fiscal conservative. Jean Bishop is not a friend of the taxpayer in District 4.
