During the Moi era, the Kamba community became a butt of many - TopicsExpress

During the Moi era, the Kamba community became a butt of many jokes for their pro-establishment, pro-Moi tendencies. While most non-rift valley communities rejected Moi in total, the Kamba were willing to even sacrifice their own in support of Moi. How times change. Today, the Kamba have undergone a total transformation. Simply put they have had a political transformation. Kambas are now strong and firm not willing to play second fiddle to anyone. Yesterday they showed the criminal government of uhuruto dust by rejecting their minion Kaloki. As the Kambas were seeing light the Meru have steadily retrogressed. Ameru are now where the Kambas were during the Moi era. Merus will follow Kikuyu elites as colleagues of mine from central put it “ta gui” (like dogs). Meru urgently needs political revelation like the one which the Kambas have experienced. Its time for Meru to join the rest of Kenya by rejecting Kikuyu chauvinists!
