During the beginning of this month, our congregation held a high tea in which we had a guest speaker, prophetess Millicent. While addressing the audience, she made a call to identify an individual with a speech problem to which no one had responded. When the alter call was made, a woman approached the pastor and told him what she was there for. Thereafter, he took the woman with her son to the prophetess who could then identify that it was the son who had the speech problem. Not only did he have a problem with his speech but it was also revealed to her that he had a problem with his leg. After having gone to visit the doctors, he still could not run or speak as a child of his age would normally be able to. Since they prayed for him at the event, he has been healed and is now able to run and speak. The mother vividly recalled sensing the presence of God on the day they prayed for her son. Although this event happened almost a month ago, the mother speaks of this wonderful testimony as if it was just yesterday. Now her son eagerly desires to attend church services to be in the presence of God and His Word. By the glory of God, this mother and her son have been filled with such great joy in experiencing the power of God to heal. Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” God is our healer and great physician. He can heal anyone of any affliction, whether it is physical, mental, emotional, or financial.
